I design and make jewellery out of my studio in Bristol. My current collection of work is influenced by the decaying natural forms that I see on my daily walks with my dog. I love finding beauty in little chinks of light reflecting off wet leaves or a surprising burst of colour in a seemingly dull hedgerow.
For me the changing seasons are one of the most wondrous things about the countryside and I enjoy looking out for the small treasures that can be found if my eyes are open and receptive.
I try to replicate this beauty in delicate pieces which hopefully mimic a small part of what I see. Using recycled and responsibly sourced materials I let the pieces almost form themselves as nature's memories manifest themselves in a physical form that hopefully becomes a snapshot of the beauty it is derived from.
Each piece of work is unique and hand made therefore there will be some differences, albeit small, between pairs. I make every item to order so there is a two week lead time although I always aim to deliver before this. This ensures that I leave behind as little waste as possible and also allows for a certain degree of collaboration with each transaction. Please do ask if there is a specific tweak in colour or size that you would like as I am always happy to work to commission if possible.
